Last night I was transported back to a late August evening and the sounds wafting across the race course as I took a listen to Duke Special's album Songs From The Deep Forest. It's apparently a re-release of an earlier album but contains the most recent single and included a second CD "Orchestral Manoeuvres in Belfast" which is a recording of a live show he did with a proper orchestra (and quite unusually for one of these special edition CD's a few of the songs are acutally different to the first CD).
Have to say that it is ideal music to chill to and I thoroughly recommend it to anybody. Also despite the fact I really don't do classical I quite enjoyed Overture on the beginning of the second CD.
