Yesterday I was priviledged to go to a service involving church leaders from atleast 7 different denominations, in a nightclub. This was the launch of Durham Streetlights and was an awesome day.

We started off in one of the town squares doing facepainting and giving out balloons and lollies as well as leaflets. This went ok. I got to spend the morning mainly blowing bubbles.

Then it was off to the nightclub for the "official reception" addressed by mayor, MP and police before the commissioning service.

The service was awesome simply because of how visibly eccumenical it was... a couple of charismatic house style churches, Methodist, Anglican, Salvation Army and Catholic were all there....praying for our work and city. It was awesome and a real day of blessing.
