Popping out for lunch

Today I popped down to Bristol to have lunch.

At this point anybody who knows where no-where-ville on sea (Kent) is in relation to Bristol may be saying o.k, whatever. As you've probably gathered I was off to some kind of opportunity to meet some of my friends off the internet. Today it was the GCN Christmas gathering.

Besides going to a gorgeous Italian, which was almost too generous with their portions we went and visited The New Room which was John Wesley's chapel. It was a facinating building with a wonderful bookshop which sold a mixture of traditional "Methodist" type things, a good range of second hand books and a selection of Leeds Postcards .

Here are your brief thoughts for the day (from the postcards I added to my collection):
If you think education is expensive think of the cost of ignorance.

I try to take one day at a time but sometimes several days attack me at once.

If you can walk you can dance. If you can talk you can sing.

We must be the change we wish to see in the world.

Whatever you dream you can do begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it. Begin it now.
