Apathy or Disorganisation

Not sure if I am suffering from apathy or disorganisation but as I found my Lib Dem ballot paper has to be with the electoral reform people by 1st post tomorrow and I still hadn't done anything with it I am not voting for the leader of the party.

All through the campaign I have been fairly undecided and reasonably uncovinced by both parties. Therefore, I have decided that I'm not voting. I don't like doing this, but...

I have a horrible feeling that it's not just disorganisation and lack of time but an increasing feeling of apathy and disconnection from the whole process of politics. Everybody is fighting for the middle ground with a mixture of the best bits of New Right and New Left Realist policy and choice is being replaced by different varieties of the same solutions which make nice soundbites but on the whole naff policy.

I should be angry, but these days I'm just too tired to care. Unfortunately I think this may be the view of an increasingly large section of the electorate in this country.
