Back to the Real World

I am preparing for re-entry into the real world in September. As I indicated last week that involves some decisions which require serious prayer, but which I'm not going into detail publicly on here about. However, with the way life works the job hunting starts now. So yesterday I updated the educationally focused CV, forwarded it on to a couple of people and trawled through the TES website, aswell as some more interesting ones.

Doing this has been eye opening for me. I want to stay North East based if I can, but if that's not possible there is literally a whole world out there. This came home to me when I saw a job advertised in the Cayman Islands. No, I'm not about to uproot Third Party or head off abroad but it did highlight how sometimes I limit my horizons.

It has also been a good exercise in balancing dreaming and wondering with reality. I know what I don't want to be doing, but........it could be the logical progression. Similarly I know what I would love to be doing, but it may simply not be available. Equally there is a feeling of I think I know what I should be doing but I don't quite get how that one is going to work. Still, I guess that job hunting is just another adventure to be looked at and prayed through.
