Getting Educated

So in Iowa it was Mike Huckabee for the Republicans and Barack Obama for the Democrats. As an Englishwoman not in New York it's not a case of boring, boring politics but rather confuddling, confuddling politics. I quite honestly get confuddled with all the strange words they're using and stuff, so I'm v. glad that the BBC have produced a simple q&a guide for us.

The Sojourners site is proving useful for information and analysis, particularly the God's Politics blog. I'm also finding Yahoo News an easy and useful tool. I haven't quite got into watching CNN or Fox News to see their analysis yet, but as the campaign progresses I just might.

If anybody from the US happens to be reading this, or if you happen to actually understand what's happening I'd be really interested in learning what you make of it all and where you think it will / should end up. Oh and of course I'd also be interested in the views or opinions of the people like me who haven't really got a clue, but have something they'd like to say on this.

Oh and I'm also reading the auto-biography of the woman who would seek to become the first female president.
