There are certain offers which it is useful for students, particularly post-grad types to take advantage of. One of the most useful, which appears from time to time is when Sage give free access to their journals for a month or so. Therefore, v. happy when my inbox informed me they were doing this for the month of October, giving access to all their journals from 1999-present. Anybody else interested in registering for this offer this is the link.
On a personal note I have gone and started part one of the proccess which hopefully culminate in me getting my library / IT / generally v. useful uni card on Monday. As expected I ended up in the queries queue, but got sorted quite quickly and easily which I was relieved about. Had a huge amount of sympathy for the staff there, having been on both sides of the enrolement table and knowing what it's like trying to ensure queues don't build up when lots of people aren't quite going through as planned.
I was given the usual bag of information which was emblazened with the logo "centre for entrepreneruial learning". Thinking about how this is all working out, without the "formal funding", I thought this was v. apt. Also reflected that these light cotton reusable bags are a far cry from the carrier bags of old.
