Subversion in Cyber Space

Ok, we all know that you never know who is going to read you in cyber space and so you have to be v. careful. We also all know that you have to be careful because the person writing something you're reading may not be who they claim to be. Finally we also know you have to be very careful with links because what the sites you are linking to get updated and the content on a permanent link may not be what it was when you set up the link (so I better check what my wiblinks are connecting to at some point soon).

However, most of us are aware enough of our stats, etc to know that very few people actually read what we post, (I know some of you do have loads of readers but I'm addressing those of us who are mere mortals here). The people who do tend to read us, I think, are fellow bloggers and people who generally spend too much time wandering about in cyber space.

I think it is taking the second bit in mind that somebody I know has recently had some real fun on their blog writing something hilarious, but actually slightly subversive. They have shown me that blogs can become a playground to have some fun in.

Unfortunately I'm a grown up though who keeps the first paragraph way too much in mind and so I don't even want to link - just incase one of the other grown ups is around and doesn't quite get the level of humour and irony involved and acts to stop the fun.

However, it has made me think perhaps I need to learn to play alittle more.
