Looking forward to the summer

For people who might be wondering how to spend their summer here are a few ideas:
Cambridge Folk Festival looks to have a particularly good line up this year including Billy Bragg, Eliza Carthy, The Imaginary Village and the Levellers (whom it seems almost impossible not to see this summer).

Guildfest is turning into an ongoing retro fest with Blondie, Kula Shaker and Cerys Matthews aswell as the Levellers.

Besides both of the above you will also, obviously, find the Levellers amongst the line up at Beautiful Days , their own festival, which Supergrass are also playing.

However, if you can't make any of the above you can also catch the Levellers, (and Supergrass) at Fairport's Cropredy Convention

The Levellers aren't playing Summer Sundae , but Supergrass (the 2nd busiest band this summer) are.

For the more avant garde there's Lounge on the Farm which doesn't have either The Levellers or Supergrass on the line up this year.

Folk By the Oak is also another chance to enjoy good, chilled out music, without the Levellers or Supergrass. The line up for this one includes Cara Dillon and Seth Lakeman.

The Hop Farm boasts Neil Young and Primal Scream aswell as Supergrass.

Broadstairs Folk Week has Eliza Carthy and Cara Dillon and can be thoroughly recommended.

Finally the music line up hasn't been announced for Greenbelt yet, but The Talks line up looks cool and let's face it when it comes to Greenbelt the music is secondary anyway.

As for me it remains to be seen exactly which ones I end up at, but Cambridge and Greenbelt are two where you'll most certainly be able to catch up with this particular Tractor Girl.
