Ok, so I know there's another few days to go, but hey... tomorrow we're off up north to visit friends.
So my personal round up of '08 - linking back to what I said at the time (sometimes)
Favourite album: Pink - Funhouse
Favourite single:Scouting for Girls - I Wish I Was James Bond
Favourite Live Act: Leave that - it would require a decision
Favourite Music Festival - Cambridge Folk Festival
Favourite TV Show - Never Mind the Buzzcocks (a real return to form this year)
Favourite talk - Revd Doctor Richard Burridge (Dean of Kings College London) and Nomfundo Walaza (Chief Executive of the Tutu Peace Centre in South Africa) on the Lamberth Fringe
Proudest moment as a mum: Third Partys baptism
Overall assessment of my year: I got on a rollercoaster sometime in January and somebody set it off at hyper-speed, by the summer it had shifted up a gear to warp-speed. I don't want to get off but I'd appreciate it if somebody could get the safety equipment to lock properly.
