Have just had my flying visit up north:
Accomodation - I like, Third Party has been alternating between using the words "basic" and "squat".
Job Interview - A learning experience, looks like I haven't been successful.
School - Third Party reckoned it was ok, which is a start.
Met somebody off the Ship for coffee aswell, which was cool. Always good to catch up with new people.
Overall impression is that I love the place, but Third Party still has reservations.
Both of us did come home wondering how I have managed to get a place there though and thinking it's all a different world in many ways. Think seeing croquet being played by undergrads in a couple of places including on the lawn outside the cathedral was what freaked us most.
