Got home tonight and logged on to a flood of messages from friends, organisations and companies. It was one of those review the week from a variety of perspectives moments by the time I'd trawled through.

Alot of the stuff was on Bush's re-election and the reaction from various perspectives (only thing they had in common was none were particularly happy).

One friend had sent through a wonderful download named the voting machine which was a short animation about how the voting machines in Florida made you vote for Bush. That was just plain fun.

SchNEWS this week had a good rant about the religious right, which is fair enough except that they end up tarring all evangelicals with the same brush and building up even more predjudice against Christians. In addition it makes it harder for those of us who hold on to some of the same moral values, but not the whole package and certainly not with the same disregard for those we differ with, to work feel we can be part of these networks on an equal basis without facing the very type of discrimination and bigotry they are opposing in every other area of society.

London Institute for Contempory Christianity (LICC) gave the basic type of not all Christians (including evangelicals) support Bush and we need to stand up for peace, justice and the environment view that many of us on the Wibsite have been advocating along with so many other people around the world; that Jim Wallis and other leading Americans have been promoting throughout the campaign in the US mainstream media.

It's a pity that the various alternative medias don't tend to have links to very different, but in some ways similar perspectives and only tend to link to those who they're actually tied in with one way or another and so very few people get the full picture. Tonight has been interesting reading.

Apart from that and people selling me things I had my update from the Tractor Boys as they prepare to take on Burnley this weekend.
