Last night I went into Peter Pan mode (probably a nightmare for those around me) and went to watch the fireworks on the beach with a bunch of friends from church. They were really cool, with allsorts of sparkley pattens and stuff (fireworks not friends, although they fit the cool bit of the description). Now I know that's what fireworks do, but somehow (because I was in one of those really childish, chilled moods) they seemed to have a magic that is sometimes missing.
Tractor Boys won and are still challenging for promotion.
Bridget Jones, Edge of Reason has preview showings this weekend, but I am being very self-controlled (primarily because of domestic situation meaning that I can't go and see a 15cert without it turning into a major event) and will wait. Think this will be good for me, as think my priorities were getting seriously messed up with importance I was putting on one chick flick.
All in all this is turning into a very fluffy weekend after my deep and meanifuls yesterday morning.
