Ok, I admit it I am finding being back in church challenging in someways, but being back in very regular contact with the church community does get my life sorted for me, more easily.

Having said that the fact I was becoming a fluffy Christian who increasingly went to church for the social rather than the spiritual was the issue in the first place, but hey, God knows I'm working on it & working on making sure I think of Him more through it.

Right, very nice you say, but what has the dozy bint needed sorting this time. Well, in the summer I had a random conversation with some friends about liking Martyn Josephs music & so they offered to get me a ticket to a concert they were going to. I heard nothing more, so forgot about it & figured that the ticket had been forgotten about. That was until Friday @ the youth event I mentioned in an earlier posting when my friend turned round & said "you have remembered about Sunday", at this point I was like,"um, what am I meant to be doing, I can't remember being asked to do anything." Turned out he was talking about concert, at which point I started to swear very silently to myself, but with enough expression that it was clear I was now having a completely mashed head moment. Well being the community our church is within 5 minutes I had found a willing sitter for third party, established that I could pay for the ticket when I had some cash & that I did have a lift.

So tonight I am off to enjoy myself having deposited Third Party @ church to meet sitters @ evening service.
That said I am really starting to wonder what I can give back to all these wonderful people who keep my life sorted for me.

Also this morning lost a £5 bet to Third Party who has apparently landed part of Mary in church nativity, I said she'd never be Mary & my money was on her being a Shepherd. I thought I was on safe ground, I mean ickle grundger as Mary, wouldn't have happened in my day.
