Am a tired, but happy Tractor Girl. Have returned from Tractor Land having seen the lads win 2-1 against Wigan (although it has to be admitted that the Wigan goal was about as close as you normally see to perfect, amazing shot from 40 yards out). Our goals were a set piece effort and a goal mouth scramble in the 89th minute (why do they always do that? - for the non footie fans, a match is 90 minutes long!). As Wigan were the only team above us it was even sweeter when our 2nd goal took us to top of the league.
Also stayed with friends who just let me chill, so was also able to have my end of term sleep (13 hours +) which made me feel alot better.
I also found out what a grace gift was, when friend who had already presented me with "official" Chrimbo prezzie of a cool, post-modern pocket version of "What's soamazing about Grace" - Philip Yancey gave me an album of photos of Third Party which were taken about 5-6 years ago. The album was from a period when said friend was really there for us & my mind was somewhere else. It meant that I had pictures of a nativity I'd forgotten Third Party had even been in & some other very special memories.
Our minister had preached on Grace Gifts, (as opposed to gift for a gift gifts, or gift for a favour gifts)
& said they couldn't really be bought, and now I really understand why.
