I do like to be beside the sea side

The sun was shining to the extent what you could see of the windfarms, through the haze, looked like they belonged in a subverted Monet. Just past the boat club, where the dinghy's were going in and out the fishermen were lined up on the shore, at regular intervals. Beyond that the children were splashing about as the waves lapped the shore.

Later it was possible to stand on the end of the pier looking out over the still water to where an isolated, ancient landing station for the paddle steamer stands. That's where the pier used to end at the beginning of the last century.

I don't have a digital camera, so couldn't share the beauty through photographs, but still wanted to try and give you a glimpse. Just proves that when the sun comes out anything can be beautiful, even No-where-ville-on-sea.
