Three month review

Well, at the end of next week it will be the end of my 1st 3 months of wiblogging and so I thought as that is generally the length of a probationary period I would do a bit of a review.

I have started getting there with links, but am not totally there (but thanks for Jack for the occassion when she made the relevant board visable so I could get my life abit more sorted) and so it's a target.

I also didn't know quite how bad my spelling and grammar could be at times on screen until I started this activity (another target to improve).

Third target is to stop referring to "smiley's" and "fluffy's" in a negative way. I have noticed quite how negative I am about these particular types of people who are a little different to me. As somebody who hates practically every other type of prejudice this labelling is not good and not healthy and so I will make it my priority target to try and get this sorted.

Strengths of the activity are the wibsite really is a community, so I'm glad I've discovered it. The best bit is logging on to read other peoples wiblogs rather than writing my own. You get inspiration, education and a real feeling of you are normal afterall from reading other peoples reflections and writings.

For me writing the wiblog the big bonus has been it's been a focus for trying to look at the positive things going on in life (haven't always succeeded) and a space to put down some of the rants going on in my head in a constructive format.

The helpful statistics that the site provides show me that I have just over 300 proper readers a month (which I'm taking a guess means about 7 or 8 of you read me regularly - thank you whoever you are and especially Jack and Orthodoxy who head up my comment contributors - see their links ). The number crunching facility has revealed that the majority of you come from the UK, followed by US and Oz (oh and quite alot of unidentifiables).

Anyway think the result of that review is targets for the next 3 months have been set (and I've checked that they are SMART ;-) ). And I've decided I'll carry on if that's ok with you (not that you have much choice, well apart from Dave and the management collective).
