Bits of the puzzle

Today is Easter Saturday, a concept I was introduced to last year during a sermon at Spring Harvest and it is explained really well by Maggie Dawn on her site today.

I think it is a facinating time and we lose the meaning of Easter Sunday as well, in part, by missing it. Whilst tomorrow we will emerge from our, largely, comftable beds and easy sleep to get to early morning services, trying to wake up, the original Easter Saturday was experienced by people who would certainly have had very little sleep over the preceeding 48 hours and what sleep they had had would have been disturbed and punctuated by the horror of what had / was happening.

That said I can't wait to get to the sunrise service, aswell as being the central day in the whole calander to me and the day where it all comes together, it is also the day where the women get to take the main supporting roles. There is part of me that just loves that bit, although it is very much secondary to the rest.

Anyway on a more everyday front yesterday I found out the answer to what went wrong with the schools application. The school Third Party is going to lost a bunch of forms and they took a while to turn up (mixed in with the teachers pay checks). A friend of mine who works at the school explained it all to me yesterday over tea @ church. So now I know there was no conspiracy after all, just a school where "stuff" happens I feel much happier.
