Had an e-mail today from someone at work informing me that they were organising the make poverty history campaign locally. Now normally I would have thought great, however I am a bit wary. This guy is also the local co-ordinator of Stop the War coalition and a fully signed up SWP type (although still a nice bloke as most Socialist Workers tend to be).
Also got a bit more cynical when I e-mailed him back to enthusiastically ask if he wanted to get the same train up to the Wake up to trade Justice all nighter and got the reply back he hadn't heard about that.
On the positive front the guy is helping organise a festival at the end of May, so we'll see.
Also am wondering whether to try again with putting the band on my this wiblog, last time I tried I failed miserably.
And finally the one mention of the election, think I know who I want to vote for - unfortuneately you don't tend to get Plaid Cymru candidates in South East England. Oh and incase anyone is wondering it is the general policies not the Welsh nationalism that I like.
