Tonight the BNP (for those of you not in the UK, a v.nasty racist "political" party) is due to show it's election broadcast. Unlike Jerry Springer the opera I believe this is not just offensive, but dangerous.
Whilst I do believe in free speech (quite happy for UKIP and others I don't agree with to have broadcasts) I think some groups some are just dangerous and ferment fear and hatred. As such I have, for the first time in my life, complained to a broadcaster (4 infact).
Ok I know I've gone off on one, and don't want to sound like a P(olitically) C(orrect) thought thug, but well sometimes you just have to stand up for what you believe in.
On a basic level, please just pray for those who are living in areas where the BNP is standing.
