So I'm sure nationally, but locally I've just scared myself

Just been to a local election forum where the candidates had a chance to sell their wares and answer (or rabbit on whilst failing to answer) questions from the floor.

At the end of it I have decided whilst (as previously blogged) I go with the Lib Dems nationally amongst the local candidates I feel the Tory candidate and sitting MP is by far the best. Pity a vote for him would also be a vote for Howard and co.

It was a quite civil affair though, apart from the bloke from UKIP who seemed to be going out of his way to attack everybody else and be as negative as possible. It was almost embarrasing watching him go off on one and obviously be totally unaware about how to conduct himself in this situation, compared to the other candidates.

Interesting to note though that the comment was made at the beginning that these affairs tend to focus on moral and Third World issues, but apart from one question on abortion/cloning focus was firmly on education and environment.

Anyway filled up a Bank Holiday Sunday afternoon when I had nothing else to do.
