The Two of Us, My Life with John Thaw by Sheila Hancock.
A truly remarkable book, which I literally couldn't put down. It takes you through every human emotion imaginable, as well as giving some interesting historical and social insights mixed with some political commentry.
However, it's greatest strength is basically it is a love story which is made all the better by the fact Sheila Hancock gives the detail the reader requires, without disclosing more of their life than is necessary. As such it is beautiful human story which will make you cry and laugh, without feeling you are intruding beyond the boundaries into a private families life.
