Current "activity" is question time; Jack has set mine. Happy to set some for anybody who wants to be tagged.

1. What have you done in your life that you're most proud of?

Bringing up Third Party to be a reasonably responsible human being, I think.

2. What do you think the roots are of your passion for issues such as trade justice, social inequalities, etc etc?

Mixture of family values I was bought up with and my understanding of how faith should be worked out, as I grew up.

3. You're clearly very into the concept of "emergent church". How would you explain emergent church to someone unfamiliar with the terms, how would you sell the concept to those of us who see our place as within established and familiar denominations, and where do you think you might fit into it all?

Have decided I prefer "evolving church", but it's only words. I think "emergent church" is a term which means people working together more, as community to just connect with God who is with them and "live Jesus" in everyday life and culture, and dropping the masks that it is sometimes convienient to wear in churches. Being more "spiritual" than "religious" is the key. I think that this is something that can apply equally to people inside or outside familiar denominations.
As readers will know I still take the identity "Baptist" quite seriously as one I want to own, although this is secondary to being a Christian. I think that we can have a denominational identity, as part of our spiritual identity, without it being divisive. Basically I think you can choose to go with one way of doing things, but incorporate good practice and what suits you from other areas aswell. For example I find alot of Celtic type stuff useful to add to the mix.
Really not sure where I fit into it all, just hope that I can be a person of integrity in relation to my faith, and the rest of life.

4. Which music, film or sports star (or famous person in any other category I've not thought of!) do you think is most snoggable?
Um, difficult one. Probably Billy Joe out of Green Day, I do like a bloke in eye liner.

5. What is your favourite part of the world, and why?
The pacific coast on Vancouver Island. I went over when I was a teenager & it is impressed on my mind forever as the most beautiful place I've ever seen.
