Ok, I may come across as a bit of a lefty tree hugger to some people (ok I probably am a bit of a lefty tree hugger), but I do try to keep a balanced view on these things (honest). However, it's a bit hard when you continue to read stories like this article in Rolling Stone about how Bush jnr is now not only not moving forward on the environmental agenda, but actually moving it backward.

As somebody who is genuinely trying to understand, if anybody who reads from the US (or anybody else) can direct me to a site which might explain the argument in favour of these decisions (and other destructive and oppressive policies of the current administration) I'd be greatful. As it is I am increasingly struggling to understand how somebody, particularly somebody with a professed faith, can justify this increased distruction of creation (including humanity) when he has been placed in a position of extreme stewardship and responsibility.

I also know we have to continue to pray for him and his administration, but I'm finding it increasingly difficult.
