According to this article in the NME Bob Dylan is v. much back in fashion, after the wonderful documentary on him put together by Martin Scorscasi (or however you spell it) last week.
The documentary seemed v.good (from the 2nd half which I saw, but not so worried about missing the first bit as Third Party has noticed it's coming out on DVD and so has put it on my Chrimbo list).
Basically key to it seemed to be they stopped at his motorcycle accident and so did not go into the dodgy, more recent albums. So lets hope all these people going in to buy Dylan albums are aware which ones are from the good period, note I do include some of his electric stuff in that.
Seems like the advert in New Look which stated Folk is the New Disco may have been right after all (& there was me thinking it was one of the most stupid adverts ever). At this rate my tastes could end up back in fashion - on seconds thoughts I doubt it.
