BT Digital Music Awards are worth a look and the odd vote or two. They actually have a decent choice of nominations, although the choice does extend to some complete cheese (and beyond) in some categories.
Personally I would say the Virtual Festivals site is worth a vote under the Music Communities type category and BBC Six Music under the radio category are worth a vote, other wise I would not seek to influence you.
