I realise how much you can learn in a year; the way search engines order their lists, how to do a link, what a comment is,etc, etc. However, when I started my bit of this I knew nothing, (as some of you who have helped me along with my techno-phobe moments can testify ;-) ).
As such I had accidently discovered bloggs, whilst surfing around on my spiritual journey, when I had put in some search term (which I can't remember for the life of me) and found Maggi Dawn's site , soon followed by John Davies . So obviously at this point I had discovered bloggs, but only big grown up ones, which are v. well written and stuff.
Anyway at some point that week Maggi had a link to the Wibsite and the Windsor Report cartoon Dave had done. This led me on to the Wibsite in general and having a read round I knew that the postings there were more on my type of level and it was a proper community thing, so that's how I ended up on here, having realised that people like me did blogg.
Anyway once on here I realised that I had found a strange thing, a site which had a disproportionate number of people like me, who I could relate to (i.e. twenty and thirty somethings, with a relatively high level of education, a number of whom were singletons, some with leftish / radical leanings, a liking for folky type music, an interest in Christianity and a few considering which way there life should go in next).
Through the comments being left by people like those I linked to yesterday and others I didn't get in yesterday like Sarah I realised that this was just the place for me, and so not only did I start blogging I kept going. And that as they say is the end of the story of the why I blogg on here, so tomorrow I'll move on to the highlights of my blogging year.
