This Rolling Stone article on the American peace movement makes interesting, if somewhat long, reading.
It illustrates the tensions that have to be worked through, and space that will need to be found if the peace movement is to truly move forward to the mainstream & the fragile coalition of the unwilling is to hold.
It shows that whilst we must not, cannot marginalise the left or anti-globalisation elements, neither can we afford to marginalise or alienate the mainstream majority, who may have a much less radical agenda, but an equally sincere desire for change.
