May be it's because it is nearly the end of term & I feel more shattered than I think I ever have, may be it's because I'm a bear of little brain, may be it's because of cultural differences, or may be it's because it's plain wierd that I really don't understand this , (in Rolling Stone magazine).
If the article has got this right (& from checking the Willow Creek site it seems so ) then a variety of "seeker friendly mega churches" in the States are going to go for extra services in the run up to Christmas but have no service at all on Christmas day. Whilst I understand the reasoning I find disturbing.
I just can't get my head around why worshipping communities, however seeker friendly decide to ditch the Christmas morning service. To me it just seems another nod in the direction of bowing to the dictates of "material fest"
*Update* before writing about latest discovery on net one should alway check SOF to find out if actually this is old news which everybody else was fully aware of and had been discussing for some time ;-)
