sad news according to this article on the BBC News. Smash Hits is to fold.
Have to admit I get v.nostalgic about Smash Hits, as it was a v. important part of my secondary school life. I had an informal agreement with my Physics teacher which involved me being able to do the Smash Hits crossword as long as I sat there and didn't disrupt anybody elses learning.
