Ok, have finally finished essay and am into half term - (yes, I'm working from home, but I have my evenings back for a while) and so have spent far too much time today on the net.
During my trawling I have found the following, which you may or may not be aware of and similarly may or may not be interested in:
BMS are promoting the Stop Climate Chaos lobby of parliament on Wed 1st March. V. interesting that the BMS bloke we had preaching today (on Luke 9 & 10) said being involved in these types of campaign was dealing with contempory demons of climate change, international debt.etc.
Tickets for this years Beautiful Days festival, in Devon, go on sale this week.
The Baptist Union seem to have updated their site and seriously improved the prayer resources available on line (which may be intended for churches, but are v.good for individuals who wish to pray in an informed way aswell). For those of us struggling to articulate our prayers for the CPT hostages in Iraq they have these prayers which you may find it useful to use, again they are intended for corporate use, but are equally useful for individuals.
