> I had a very pleasant afternoon the other day. I finished work a little early because I had started early. I had many missions to accomplish. I had to drive form the House of Chops down to "the Farm". As I have chronicled before "The Farm " is a beautiful and eclectic part of the City of Chops. It is 5 minutes from the CBD and is right down by the river. It is a very eclectic community with a very broad snapshot of the City of Chops. It ranges from the yuppies and beautiful people to a rather large "rainbow community". It also has a number of
boarding houses which look a little run down.
I went and bought some tickets for that night's production of a play a friend is in called "the return" it is a pretty cool play set on a train with 5 people from varying backgrounds. It shows society as a interesting and complex mix.
As I was walking from the theatre to the local shopping centre I saw an old ice cream container nailed to the fence with a sign that said Free herbs. It indeed did have some fresh rosemary in it. I don't think you would ever see anything else like that in the City of Chops in any other suburb apart from "The Farm".
I could see myself living there one day if it wasn't so crowded and now a days so expensive as well.
I did my errands at the post office by paying some bills and sending the magic powder to the Police State. The magic powder is used by men generally of a larger ilk. It is placed down below in the areas that sometimes get sweaty and chaff and other unpleasantness. The magic powder however is not available in the land of Chops but in the land far away. But thankfully we manage to get a shipment about once a year through various sources. But the Police State was running very very low. Thanks to the helpfulness of K-Sue who posted up the new rations once she landed in that Southern Place. I was then able to mail two packets up to the Police State. A large packet for around the house and a much smaller packet handy for travelling. When I told the lady behind the counter where it was to go she told me she had just moved down from the town where the
Police State currently abides. We spoke for moments about what a sweet town it is and what great pies they have their. She told me that no one that she had told in the City of Chops understood how good the pies were in her home town, but she was glad finally someone else did agree about how good the pies truly
were.
I also grabbed the new edition of Rolling Stone and had a quick skim of the mag before picking up Mrs Lovely One and then a quick dinner and then the show and then Hot Chocolate after the show. Mrs Lovely One had the corned beef cooked in ginger ale and it was very nice and tender. I had the ribs and they were ok. The meal was huge and the service was quick and friendly.
The before mentioned show was truly tops and a lovely time had by all.
Till Next Time Everything Should Be Cooked In Ginger Ale,
