Only The Lonely

As you may have guessed from the blog Mr Chops is a pretty social creature. I gain energy from being around people generally. Some people have the distinct opposite affect on me however.

But today on my day off I did something unusual for me. I went to the movies by myself. I did call a friend to see if they wanted to go see it with me but they had already seen the fillum I was about to see. So I ventured down to the local miniplex to the see the fillum.

The movies in the morning on a Wednesday does attract a "different" sort of crowd. There were a couple of uni age people. They were pretty cool but they had to comment on how lame every preview looked. The during the movie they clucked away about how bad things in the movie were. I went and saw the Borat movie. I think people get suckered in to thinking it is a documentary on the Kazak style of life. It is a farce pure and simple but a bit of a mirror on American culture.

We also had the pensioners out for a big a morning who were speaking quite loudly during the previews and such. Thankfully they quietened down during the movie and all i could hear from them was laughter.

And then there was me. The guy who felt slightly uncomfortable at being alone in a activity usually enjoyed by one or more. I also noticed those around me a whole lot more than I usually do. And that bit i didn't like too much.

Till Next Time There Is Safety In Numbers,

Chops
