Had a interesting thought as I picked up my uniform today. Is my life one massive charade. Here I am walking in as chops in my fanciest chuck taylors, tshirt and denim shorts and then ten minutes later I am Captain Professional in my fully pressed suit, tie and leather shoes with the demeanour of one whose super friendly. Then i thought maybe it is all one massive charade but you do what you have to do. As silly as it may sound my Chops help me feel more real and authentic. That the core of me does not change when I change clothes. I know it is a little too philosophical for a Wednesday.
Too philosophical to do a till next time joke (or is that in essence a joke in itself),
