I Seemed to Have Broken My Pants

I am currently looking after a rather large exhibition that draws people from hundreds of km's away. The guests spend up to three hours waiting to get in and stand in line so they don't miss out on their chosen workshop. People can be so passionate about stuff. Last few days have been rather busy especially in the mornings doing the pre show checks and making sure the over a thousand in the entry lines are all ok and get a fair go at getting in. I rushed in to start the day and grab my uniform.

I pull my trousers on and find that the adjustable clip on the left side is broken. So I tighten the other side and hope that my dacks won't fall down in a hall full of women and go about the day. I was tempted to fix them with the use of gaffa tape, gee that stuff is as handy as a very handy thing. I was shocked and slightly embarrassed to find out 9 hours later when I returned my strides to find that it was a literally ten second job to fix my pants. But I had spent the day not so comfortable cause one side was tight and the other was loose. I felt a little out of balance to be honest and not confident in the state of my shirt so I had to keep my jacket on all day and done up as well. Which when your walking constantly for at least several hours not a good way to have your pants.
