In the absence of Sir Chops, I am posting a quick message on his behalf to keep you up to date with how things are going so that you all don't worry too much, and to hopefully prevent further insults from the Curate.
He has been sick for the last week or two and has recently been diagnosed with glandular fever, so he really does have an excuse for pleading sick. He also has been unable to work and so has no interesting, quirky, entertaining, random and slightly ungrammatical stories to tell of his adventures at the House of Chops. I haven't even heard of any more interesting dreams.
We would both greatly appreciate your prayers for his health in the weeks leading up to our impending nuptials - that he will be back to health by then and be able to enjoy the day, as well as be able to go back to work and continue to regale you all with his tales from the House of Chops.
