We had a really good flight, it was so smooth and I slept well. We got to Fiji at 5.10 am which was early even for our flight. We were so early the guys with the guitars and ukelele's weren't even there. Once they fired up they were awesome and a pleasant sound at that early hour. Our "resort" accomodation sent their driver to come pick us up and take us there. It is my second visit there and we got a really nice room with ensuite and breakfast and airport pick up for $40 local currency a night. One of the ladies actually recognised me from last time which was a little scary. We had a good brekky and a good chat with Bill who caught me up on things around the place. Police State things have changed a little since we stayed here. The road is now bitumen not dirt and the "resort" has changed with a new brekky area and more buildings around the "resort".

We had a good chat and he brought me the local paper which was a interesting read. We plan to go see V for Vendetta on cheap Tuesday for 4 bucks. Some slightly disturbing news on the cover was the Army decided to do "routine" marches through the middle of the Capital with weapons and some vehicles with large machine guns mounted on the back. The army said it was routine but it was coincidentally the same day the Parliament was dissolved before the election.

We could not get into our room till after 10 and went into town and walked around and went to the local markets. As is tradition when I come here I left my boardies at home and found a nice pair of rusty boardies for 20 bucks!!

We grabbed some groceries and some bread and have been eating from our room.

I feel really sorry for all of you stuck where you are. The place is truly paradise apart from the humidity.

Till Next Time Take It Easy Cause I Am,
