Welcome all to today which is not only today but is indeed also World Happy Mrs Lovely One Birthday Day. To help celebrate this monumentous occassion a small group of us went to the House of Ribs. I wish to confirm with readers that without a shadow of a doubt that Surly has left the building and left Dittzy to take over the reigns of the Hosue of Ribs. So Curate it is now safe for you to come back.
Dittzy's whole modus operandi is way different no longer do diners cringe and hope not to enrage the wait staff. Dittzy seems to hide behind the counter a bit more. But she has still learnt the don't look near tables as you walk by trick. Because if you do they may ask you for something. She is also a little ditzy after asking my name she then took me to a table with someone else's name. When we said that's not my name she said oh yeah and then placed us at the right table.
The tricky people at the House of Ribs now give you garlic bread without even asking. Me thinks this is a attempt to fill you on cheap garlic bread and keep you away from the porky goodness of the ribs and other delights. But a decent effort was put in by all on the night. I am sure the House of Ribs made a profit but on their retail prces we also still won. So everyone wins. To make our booking we looked at the House of Ribs website and they do something rather unusual. They now post ribs around Australia with dry ice. They posted some to Adelaide the other week and it went ok. It just reminds me of that epiode of MASH where they order ribs and rib sauce from Chicago. Beware the ribs cost $45 and the postage to Adelaide was $80. But it is a great idea if you were travelling home from BrisVegas and wanted to take back that special part of your trip.
Till Next Time Is There Anything They Can't Post These Days,
Chops
