At the wedding of myself and Mrs Lovely One we had these little table centrepieces with flashing lights and a fancy glass and a tea light candle. There was one per table and who ever wanted it from each table got to take that home.
My group of friends most of whom I have known since I was a very small child have decided we don't see enough of each other. So in an endeavour to rectify that we now meet regularly and the first person to leave must take the centrepiece with them and thus becomes the next host family of the rotating party thing.
Yesterday was our first such occassion and we all took various dishes and had a wonderful time catching up and all that sort of deal. When Mr Bean and his lovely wife arrived they announced a little time later that they were expecting a bubskins. The lady beside them, El Capitaino then announced also that she was pregnant. It was very cool and totally awesome news. So over the next year of these parties we will have pleasure of joining them in the journey in a small way as they progress through pregnancy and have their bubs. I am so clucky right now it is not funny!!
By the way despite the rumours Mrs Lovely One and I are not expecting. Sorry Mum.
