One of the worst things about the end of a US Presidents term of office is that they get to do stupid things that they can't do while in office.

They get the chance to pardon their friends, political donors and other dregs of humanity for all the things that they've done wrong. They also get to reward those people who have helped them to survive. In the case of George Bush Jnr he gets to reward his mate for helping him to invade Iraq.

That's right; Tony Bliar is getting a Presidential Medal for his part in helping Georgie Boy pick up where his dad left off. Woithout Tony's lies and spin we may never have invaded Iraq and killed a few thousand Iraqi civilians and helped destabilised an entire region.

George also gets the chance to stir up the Middle East by giving unconditional support to Israel. Not that they shouldn't have it after so much Hamasian provocation. Yet he leaves his successor in the perverbial shite as he has to formulate a new policy while the Israeli army are chugging through Gaza.

I can't wait to see how history casts George's presidency.
