Party Time

Tonight I have been to the work's Christmas party. This year it was held at a Spanish restaurant in Bridgend and very good the food was to prove.

Before we could do this we had to choose what we wanted. The menu was placed on large boards behind the bar but you actually got to choose what you wanted from the chill cabinet. This included looking at several Red Snappers, a few Prawns, Crayfish Tails, Sea Bass, Dover Sole and a very ugly Monkfish with its mouth open.

I must say that the Fillet Steak and Chorizo sausage I had were great, as was the Panacotta. The only downside was that I had to drive the 35+ miles home, so I could only have the one drink. Sometimes I'd really like to have a good old bender like I used to have when I was single and didn't rely on my car for my living.
