Just noticed that I've had 666 visitors to my site. Does this mean that, for a short period maybe, this site is the ANTIWIBLOG? Does this fortell the end of the world and the 2nd Coming? Does it mean that the 17:40hrs from Penzance will be on time?
Thankfully, after a sip of Diet Coke with Lemon, I've now managed to calm down and the evil little gnomes, with their pitchforks, have now disappeared.
The weekend saw something of a change for First Wife and myself. Friday saw Dad and I beginning to lay the flooring in the hall. Hopefully he'll have it finished by the time I get home on Thursday night. The flat is beginning to look like a home at last. Now we just need to do the bathroom and kitchen to complete the transformation.
Saturday was an easy day. Apart from being forced to get up early, to meet Dad at Homebase to collect a new ladder for the Chapel. I got to watch the footie. Wife got to go for a walk in the local park (I'll leave her to tell you about that).
In the evening we went out for a meal and then went to see Where The Truth Lies. Wife was happy as she got to see Kevin Bacon & Colin Firth in all heir glory. I was happy as it is a very good film. The cinema however looks as though the Mongol Invasion has just been reinacted. Chairs with half the covering ripped off and the foam pulled out. The backs fraying and beginning to come apart. Not a way to enhance your cinematic pleasure.
Sunday was a very naughty day. We skipped Chapel as it was the C Club Christmas play and had a lie-in. Then, after I'd had a bath, we both managed to fall aslep again until 16:30. we had to be out for 18:00 to go to Pastor Chug a Bug's for tea (more about that later).
