I have been preparing for tomorrow's Youth meeting as we launch into our Fairtrade Project for 2006. Our chapel maybe late taking this up but we are moving forward at pace.
I need help as FW is currently watching Series 1 of The Muppets. The problem is she's singing along with ALL the songs......
We had a talk the other day centreing around Homer Simpson great treatise on the mind. Homer once memorably stated that he couldn't learn anymore new stuff as it was pushing the old stuff out. Then we were watching a Bill Bailey DVD where he stated that humans only use 10% of their brain capacity.
We came to the conclusion that FW uses about 9% of her capacity to remember nonsense - such as Muppet songs and Spike Milligoon poems - and only 1% for the rest of life - eg, movement, speaking, navigation.
Since then I've noticed that she's right. Tonight is a case in point.
Maybe I should help her. Now where did I put those electrodes and the generator????
