Ok, we won't mention to much about yesterday afternoon. Enough said. As you can guess not everything went to plan.
There was the big thing that everyone knows about. Then Troublesome Truck The Elder was banned from coming over as he had not been a very good boy all week. That meant I had no excuse to play with the trains.
However West Ham won, which is always a good thing, and First Wife and I went to see Munich. No, you at the back, not the city but the film. Its a very good look at man's ability to get fired up for vengeance and then to find that it comes at a tremendous cost to one's own soul.
And now to some more fun news......
While lying in bed yesterday morning there was a knock on the front door. As we lay there FW said, in a small, quiet, inquisitive, quaky voice, "Hello?". Unfortunately, that as it, no other movement. So I went to the front door and took the post off the postman. Had I not been there then I think that we'd never have got the post.
Thankfully she did laugh about it when I got back into bed.
