Been lucky enouh to have had a very easy day today. No pressing work to consume my time, so managed a leisurely walk into town with First Wife and lunch in Starbucks.
Had my Best Man over for tea last night, as he's temporarily back in the area. Its been great to catch up after almost 4 months since we last got together. He and Wife are getting on well. We have plenty of opportunities to get together and enjoy some quality time together. Hopefully we'll also be able to help him, and possibly his dad, get over the loss of his mum last year.
After taking today so easy I have to work hard tomorrow to finish preparing Sunday's Fairtrade Service. We've managed to get the youth to help out - the first time this has happened. I've now got to finish off the programme and finish writing the sermon/talk.
Then we out with my sister and her family, as its the eldest's birthday tomorrow so we off out on Sunday for lunch to celebrate. Then we have our bi-monthly deacons' meeting in the afternoon. Who said Sunday's were a time for rest?
Then its back to work again on Monday. Its not all work, work, work, you know! But it sure as hell feels like it some weeks.
