Great Day

Today saw yet another bad day in the history of the Little Chapel That Could. They had to suffer yet another one of my sermons. Yet, for some reason they seem to like them. Some of them even say so when I'm not there to hear.

I was assisted by the Troublesome Trucks performing as lions for the Daniel in the lions' den part of the service. Andrew, our inspring young man, played Darius. Unfortunately things got out of hand as we finished. Darius reversed his wheelchair into the chair that holds his water jug. He was very embarrassed but was able to laugh it off.

This was followed by a very successful afternoon. The Troublesome Trucks came to visit and watch the football with Aunt and Uncle. They were very well behaved and helped to make West Ham's victory even better. Junior Truck told FW that he'd brought his colouring, in case she got bored with the football. They even helped her to finish tidying and cleaning the kitchen.

They can be a handful, on the odd occasion, but most of the time they are 2 of the best behaved kids I know.
