Really enjoyed last night's excellent party at the superb Amore in Swansea. The company was great and had a very relaxing and enjoyable time. Highlight's included The Aged Goth keeping us entertained with weird picture taking; Lanark proving that he can belch almost to order - especially if it means people hit me on the forehead. My favourite moment was passing on a message - in the form of a public hug - to Paperback Writer. He really hates those - maybe that's why I enjoyed it so much.
Now we have to visit again next month and in August for more parties. There's me trying to make people dislike me and they fail to take the hint. Maybe they only invite me to keep FW happy - that's probably it.
Today was spent having a sausage sarny in Swansea and then rushing home ready for the England match. Contrary to Sad Sister's comment, I had remembered that Bald Brummie and the Troublesome Trucks were coming to watch at the flat. They seemed to tolerate the match, though Shouty Boy managed to lose one of his baby teeth - after much moaning and tongue teasing. Then he managed to drop it before he went home. Now he's worried the Tooth Fairy won't be able to leave him money.
They left me to watch the other 2 matches alone, FW electing to spend the day imposing her presense on her friends. I say this because they seemed only to happy to get rid of her after we married last year ;-)
Must say that ITV's coverage is as useless as usual. The adverts are really annoying, especially those from Budweiser. Why do they insist on having Terry Venables on their programme?
In related news I heard that a Sport Hating Wife has had to bow to her husband's wish to watch the match. He was even allowed to have a friend round. Hope she watched it too. She may have liked it.
Thanks to the person who found my blog by searching Google for "Forest of Dean Inbred". Hope you found what you were looking for.
