Today was the Anniversary that never was but is now.
It was good to see so many people in the chapel. Everyone who had been away, or attends irregularly, was there. John James from Penarth was, as usual, excellent. We had individual cards with a menu on. Some thought that we were having a 7 course meal afterwards but it was only John's illustration of the Christian life.
The usual organisation was in eveidence. No one had thought until the night before to organise a cup of tea, coffee and biccies afterwards. Then only one person was told and expected to do everything on their own. Neither were us Sunday School teachers told that the kids would be staying in the service.
However everyone enjoyed the service and the cuppa.
