Yesterday afternoon was spent with Sad Sister, Brummie Supporter and the Troublesome Trucks. Loud Boy insisted on travelling to the chip shop in my car so we could get part of tea. Again I had cries of faster, faster. Thankfully speed in Magda sometimes to be travelling much quicker than she is, its to do with lightness and closeness to the ground.

On the return I was told off for singing along to Jethro Tull because: "You're freaking me out." He is definitely my sister's son.

Last night was spent in the company of Best Man and, for a short while, his father at the local hostelry. Our evening's pleasure was interrupted by a performance from the Cardiff Ladies Morris Dancers. Now I'm not a great lover of Morris Dancing, Country Dancing, or most other forms. However I didn't find it to distracting. Best Man however has a lower tolerance for such things.

He's not against such things but prefers them with a little more life than that shown. It wasn't really their fault. As they said, they couldn't perform some of the more lively routines due to the uneveness and looseless of some of the flagstones.

News for the Swansea loggers. The landlord of the pub is thinking of buying The Pilot on the Mumbles. If this goes through we'd recommend a visit, or 12. It will be a real ale pub with good locally brewed ales and ciders. They do a very good bottled cider from Brittany that's well worth the £7 for a 50cl bottle. They also do extremely good food as well.
