Last night saw the first meeting of the Warwickshire Wibsite Community. Many thanks to Tiffer and Amy for a great evening. The Chickeny Tomatoie thingy and the Chocolate Sponge were great. It was great to meet more members of the community.
An evening of puting the worlds to right was a great source of enjoyment. A quiet pub, a few good beers and plenty of intelligent chat always goes down well.
We'll have to meet very soon, if only because I left my wedding ring in their bathroom this morning.
Upon leaving the House of Tiff this morning I drove to work. Upon arrival I found that the automatic gates were not working. After 2 or 3 minutes someone came out to say that the factory was currently in the middle of a power cut. It turned out that the rest of the small town was as well.
After 10 minutes I was told that the power was unlikely to be restored for at least 3 hours. the only option was to drive home and work from there.
What a great week! 4 days working from home out of 5.
